AI & Tech Manila (AITM) is a community for people who want to understand AI trends, discuss new breakthroughs, study use cases, and meet other technology enthusiasts! We are software engineers, entrepreneurs, organizational leaders, AI enthusiasts, and students!

We recognize the monumental impact that AI will have on our society, and we bring together tech enthusiasts, futurists, and curious newcomers alike for thoughtful conversations on emerging AI capabilities and their impact on nearly every major aspect of our lives: from business, medicine, law, and engineering to how we interface with the internet/the cloud and with each other.

At the same time, we acknowledge the sobering consequences of AI misuse and rogue AI agents, as well as arguably some of the most challenging problems of our times: AI values alignment, causal reasoning, monitoring and regulation, and achieving AGI Emergence.

If we are to build a flourishing post-AI society, we must give these challenges the spotlight they deserve in public discourse. AITM hosts in-person presentations, discussions, and workshops designed to help people understand and adapt to fast-moving technological change. Our goal is simple: build a strong, open community where people can learn, share ideas, sharpen their thinking, and use technology in ways that are ethical, practical, and pro-human flourishing.
